2026 Club Membership is now open.

Joining the club is through Cycling New Zealand’s membership portal. Please use the
registration button at the bottom of the page.

Whangārei Marsden Wheelers is affiliated to Cycling New Zealand (CNZ). All club members
are also members of CNZ and pay as a minimum a club membership and a CNZ Sport
Licence.

Club membership gives you the following benefits:

•  Free entry to our monthly club events

•  Eligibility to win club trophies

•  Ability to compete at other licenced clubs (fees may apply)

•  Able to compete in the Age-Group Nationals (with a Domestic Licence)

When registering you will be presented with a number of options & fees as detailed below:

•  WMW Club Membership – $15.00 Junior / $30.00 Senior

•  CNZ Sport Licence – $30.00 Junior and Senior

•  CNZ Domestic Licence – $45.00 Junior / $70.00 Senior

•  CNZ International Licence – $60.00 Junior / $120.00 Senior

•  CNZ Technical Licence – $54.80

As Whangarei Marsden Wheelers (WMW) is a Road & Track cycling club, the selection will
always be Road/Track/Cyclocross (RTX).​

CNZ Sport Membership – Select this if you want to participate in club events (WMW or
other clubs eg CMC) but are not interested in other CNZ sanctioned events such as the Age
Group National Championships. All riding members require a Sport Membership.

CNZ Domestic Licence – Add this if you want to compete in any races in NZ that require a
UCI licence. You will need to select this option as an add on if you wish to race an Age
Group Nationals.

CNZ International Licence – Add this if you want to compete in any UCI sanctioned events
outside NZ.

CNZ Technical Licence – Select this if you are a non-riding member of the club e.g.
commissaire.​

After selecting your CNZ membership type you will then be prompted to select your club
affiliation. Type ‘Whangarei Marsden Wheelers Cycle Club’ in the search box.​

Memberships are valid from the 1st Jan to 31st December of the licence year.​
